Children's thinking can be enhance through a lots of structured activities. the level of child's thinking can be arrange thrrough Benjamin Bloom theories. Bloom taxonomy theory. superb. through this theory we can create all the activities for children (math, language, science, art, physical, etc) that will enhance their critical and creative thinking!
explaination and the example of each level
here the example of activity that applying the bloom taxonomy theory that help teacher to enhance and evaluating children's thinking.

KNOWLEDGE
children know something that they learn or experience.
ex: children can recognize the type of shape. when they see egg, they say "oval". once they can recognize and answer question mean they have knowledge about it.
COMPREHENSION
children can explain well about knowledge that they knew. its call comprehension.
es: this is oval. the colour is green. oval is similar to egg. oval is..... they can talk about it and elaborate a knowledge. means the children's level of thinking is at the second level of bloom taxonomy.
APPLICATION
children can do, show, perform, or apply the knowledge very well.
Ex: children can draw the type of shape.children can relate the shape with their surrouding object.
ANALYSIS
children can explain and observe more detail about knowledge that they get.
ex: children can recognize how many edge that the shape has. what the colour of it. what is the differences between shapes.
SYNTHESIS
children can use the knowledge that they have to create new product or the knowledge that they have they use it as a based to their future ideas.
ex: children combine shape that they learn to produce new shape of object. example fish, house, flower, depends on children's creative and critical thinking.
EVALUATION
children can evaluate the knowledge very well.
Ex: this object is the combination of this shape and this shape. it is beautiful because....
here the example of activity that applying the bloom taxonomy theory that help teacher to enhance and evaluating children's thinking.

Children age: 4 years old to 6 years old
Topic: Shape
Objective:
- To introduce children about shape so that they can recognize varieties of shape.
- To develop children’s creative and critical thinking.
- To apply bloom taxonomy’s question to the children in order to recognize either they can reach the synthesis level of bloom taxonomy or not.
Material: shape flash card, color pencil,
glue, A4 paper, shape’s picture, pencil, chocolate bar, colourful circle
sweets mentos.
Procedure:
1. Teacher does a discussion with children
about shape. Teacher want to know either they are already had knowledge about
shape or not.
2. Teacher introduces shape to the children
using flash card. Shapes that will be introduced are (triangle, circle, square,
rectangle, diamond, heart, star, and oval).
3. Teacher and children repeat the name of
all shapes introduced by the teacher.
4. After that, teacher show and give to the
children a chocolate bar and colorful circle sweets. Then, teacher asks what
shape of the chocolate and the sweets. (knowledge).
5. Teacher asks each child about one shape.
What that they know about that shape.
(comprehension).
6. Teacher asks children to take their
favorite shape among the shapes introduced to them.
7. Then, redraw the shape
that they choose on a piece of paper. (application)
8. Teacher show again the flash card and ask
how many edge that each of shape has. Children will answer according to their
level of thinking. (analysis).
9. Teacher put all shape’s picture in front
of the children according to the shape’s type.
10. Then, teacher does again
revision with them; by asking them which shape it is and they will appoint to
the shape that teacher tell them. Example, show me where is circle?
11. Teacher gives A4 paper to the children
and children will combine or mix up the shape that they had learn to become new
shape. In this activities to recognize their synthesis level. Their
result of new shape is depends on their level of thinking.
12. Children show to the teacher their work and
explain to the teacher.
Teacher evaluates them and gives
appreciation.
Reflection: Teacher ask children what
they had learn today and throwback what they had do today about shape.

bloom taxonomy theory can be apply in all activity of all subject. but be carefull when we want to applying the theory into islamic study subject. because when reach to the level of synthesis, if we teach them to create somethng in religion it will become invention in religion. in islamic study we cannot do invention. (please alert).
